Notes: I had to do something with Beth for this fest. I love her, she's independent, resourceful, stubborn, and more than a match for the vampires in her life. Previously I'd written the boy's adventures, so I wanted to give the girls one as well.
Moonlight (TV 2007): was a show with Alex O'Loughlin as Mick, a vampire private eye, and Sophia Myles as Beth, a reporter who develops a working (and more) relationship with him. All you need to know is that they're married in this fic, and Josef calls her 'Nora' after Nora in the Thin Man movies.

In very few cases do our favorite characters tell the truth about everything all of the time. They keep some things hidden and, perhaps in order to keep those things hidden, they lie about it.

Here are some ideas to get you started: a tiny lie that spirals out of control, a secret that could destroy the character if it gets out, a secret that makes someone laugh when they hear it, a lie for the good of the world, a secret crush, someone who makes a living keeping secrets or telling lies, a character who lies to get ahead, a character who could blackmail others with their secrets...

But I was literally following Gods and Goddesses of which I knew very little, and I've spoken to others who had this same thing happen. Wicca is a wonderful, peaceful religion, but not everyone who gets there goes for the right reasons. I hope what I'm trying to say here makes sense. :/

Today I wrote some meta about Charlie Cameron from Roswell New Mexico! Thanks to jocarthage on tumblr for the prompt. Charlie was a bioweapons engineer for the military at some point before canon, and got very good at keeping Government secrets. However, she decided to leak unspecified classified documents, and when her sister Jenna realized what Charlie did, she reported her. Charlie was subsequently arrested and convicted. She eventually escapes military prison, and that's how her character joins the show in season 2.

Her character has many similarities with Chelsea Manning. ( More about that under here. )
