These three fics take place after s2 (after the available canon, then) and mostly deal with the aftermath of a more personal sort of "end of the world as we know it": one where science and faith aren't as antagonistic as they once were, where Jillian has lost her son and Mother Superion must face certain new facts, all while a wider end of the world hangs in the horizon.
Title: Gnosis
Pairing/characters: Jillian Salvius/Mother Superion; sister Camila
Rating: T
Notes: This follows from season 2 as if the very last seconds of it didn't exist. It also uses season 1's Cat's Cradle for ease of imagination.
Length: 15.036 words
Summary: Monasteries have long welcomed those in need of rest and guidance, but Mother Superion knows there must be more to Jillian Salvius’ intentions when she comes knocking in search of sanctuary. There can be no refusal, of course, even when pilgrims do not yet know precisely what it is they seek…

Title: Debris
Pairing/characters: Jillian Salvius/Mother Superion; sister Camila, Kristian Schaefer
Rating: T
Notes: This is a sister story to Gnosis but each stands alone. They touch upon similar themes and feature a common action, both starting from the end of season two, but the focus and the execution in them are wholly different (or so I should hope).
Length: 10.699 words
Summary: In the aftermath of a tempest, bits of wreckage find their way to damaged shores while the waters slowly smoothen. Blame and responsibility claim their victims, scams creep behind the letter of the law and, underwater, the past constantly reconfigures the present... Jillian Salvius must rebuild as others attempt to destroy her, caught in the limelight yet attracted to the quiet shadow of the convent where a patient Mother Superion might help her brave the stormy seas ahead.

Title: Psychosis
Pairing/characters: Jillian Salvius/Mother Superion
Rating: M
Notes: This picks up right at the end of season two as if we hadn't seen that last shot zooming in on the sword. Graphic violence is present, as is demonic possession.
Length: 17.984 words
Summary: With a "holy war" looming on the horizon, Jillian Salvius approaches Mother Superion with a proposal that might benefit her own ravaged heart as well as the OCS' operations for as long as they remain bereft of a halo bearer.
Some demons, however, are all the more dangerous for hiding in plain sight...
