Title: Making It
Fandom: The Big Bang Theory
Character: Penny
Prompt: Day 5 - The Star
Rating: G
Word Count: 200
Summary: Penny on the scene of what could be her big break
This was going to be her gateway, her reason for being in L.A. She'd show Leonard and her parents what she was made of. This wasn't just a one-time thing. She was going to be on a real television show that people heard of, and she was going to get paid for it. She would be a paid actress, and this gig, even though it was only a couple of lines, was going to get her the exposure she needed to get the next part.
(She didn't know how many casting agents regularly looked at movies like 'Serial Apeist' but she suspected the list was pretty small and she didn't always count it as one of her credits.)
She drove onto the studio lot and gave her information to the gate guard in way too many words, but he smiled politely, handed her a parking pass, and explained where she would need to go. She walked onto the set and it was so different than community theater in Nebraska or a straight-to-video shoot in basements and warehouses. This was Hollywood.
Excitement bubbled up in her. She was here and she had made it! She was going to be a star.
