Just a handful of pics that didn't fit into either of the previous categories.
My mom got me into Desperate Housewives, then she stopped watching, so I went looking for online fandom. The latest season is a bit lackluster, but the classic cast are still fun to watch. (While I'm here, let me wish for someone to post in
housewivesslash.)
The Sarah Jane Adventures features a cast with awesome female leads, Sarah Jane and Maria. (Haven't drawn Rani yet, but I don't think I'll be able to resist much longer.) Plus, y'know, the Doctor's girls.
Then there are the women of Oz: Dorothy, Ozma, Glinda, Betsy, and Trot. Ozma was genderswapped as a child via magic spell, but that hasn't stopped her from being a pretty pretty princess. (You think Dorothy's noticed?)
I've got to rec the book Wigfield, which is all kinds of silly fun for the writing, but notable in that it's illustrated by photos of the writers dressed up as the cast - in particular, sexy stripper Raven, played incredibly convincingly by the male Stephen Colbert. Which makes it especially trippy to see her with a male Colbert character.
And while I'm talking Colbert, it would be remiss of me not to mention the just-as-awesome-as-the-guys women of The Daily Show: Samantha Bee (not for much longer, alas) and Kristin Schaal.
That's about it for me on art. But goodness knows all these characters could use more. So go check them out, and spread the love!
