Today's theme comes courtesy of
kerk_hiraeth. There are some characters that only appear in a chapter of a book or a scene in a movie or an episode of a television show that make such an impression that we're thinking about them long after the show is over or book is done. Today is the day that we focus on these characters.
Here are some ideas to get you started: What brought them to the point where we meet them? What happens to them in the future? What kind of influence do they have on the other characters or the story? Or just tell us why they haunt you.
Just go wherever the Muse takes you. If this prompt doesn't speak to you, feel free to share something that does. You can post in a separate entry or as a comment to this post.
Want to get a jump start on tomorrow's theme? Check out the prompt list here. Please don't post until that day. If you are coming in later to the fest and want to post on the theme of a previous day, that's fine, just make sure to put which day that you are writing for in the subject line.
